[OmniOS-discuss] OmniOS future

Presently I am running on OpenBSD for my websites and mail servers and my thought was to run on OpenIndiana, but due to its slow development and survival I am looking for alternatives; one of which is OmniOS.

My question is simple:  what is the commitment of OmniTI to OmniOS?  I realize they've invested time & money on the development of OmniOS, but if companies are not buying commercial support for it and there isn't a demand, will OmniTI pull the proverbial plug on OmniOS?  


That is my concern.  If it can be alleviated, then my decision is much simpler.
