I was actually thinking of having dump on a raw disk. I've got a 100G 
SSD for zil, which is considerably bigger than it needs to be. I was 
going to make one slice (10G? 20G?) the zil, then carve out a another 
slice to be dump, and then leave the rest unpartitioned.
