Really enjoying the Intel S3700 series.  It seems to be the best mix of enterprise stability (built in capacitors), write endurance, speed, and price.  Working well as a zil.

PCI-e SSDs are difficult for slog because in case the storage head dies, you can't fail-over to a backup node. PCIe doesn't support multiple hosts on the same bus.
