Hello.

I'm currently trying to install OmniOS on a brand new server.
Using the latest OmniOS build on USB stick with a SuperMicro X10SAE motherboard, and a XEON CPU.

When I have no SATA disk connected to the Intel SATA controller the installation boots up fine.

As soon as I plug a disk into the controller, it gives me the following errors at boot :

Probing for device nodes…

My SATA disk is empty.

Does anyone know what the hell is going on ?
Are there any BOOT options on OmniOS installation? Can't find any information regarding boot options.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks allot people.

Best regards,
