Ahh, now I know want is wrong. You need to upgrade to latest proxmox
and choose OS Type 'Solaris'.

If this is not possible you will have to change cpu parameters in the
start script from -cpu qemu64,+x2apic to -cpu qemu64,-x2apic 

ps -ef |grep <your_omnios_server_name> on your proxmox host will show
you the complete opstart parameters which you can simply copy and paste
and remember to change the cpu parameters.
