Out of curiosity, are you passing --cpu=host? I had issues with that on 
my ivy bridge.
I currently use: qemu64,+aes,+sse4.2,+sse4.1,+ssse3 which seems to make 
a lot of things smoother.

I stil get these but qemu does not crash for me:
