[OmniOS-discuss] Installation Boot hangs after CPU/USB initialization - Intel Motherboard

I have tried both CD-ROM ISO image boot and also the USB stick boot.
the USB thumb drive boots just fine on my VMware fusion on my Mac.

So it's not the installation that is corrupt.
