The fix for the LZ4 compression bug recently discussed on the list was 
integrated into upstream this morning in commit d8fa96c:

Just in time for the upcoming (hopefully) next stable release :). My 
last five 3TB hard drives should be arriving today, at which point the 
only thing I'll be waiting for to deploy my new storage server is a 
stable release with LZ4...
