Now locale shows these settings:

LANG=
LC_CTYPE=it_IT.UTF-8
LC_NUMERIC=it_IT.UTF-8
LC_TIME=it_IT.UTF-8
LC_COLLATE=it_IT.UTF-8
LC_MONETARY=it_IT.UTF-8
LC_MESSAGES="C"
LC_ALL=
